Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Jacksonville, North Carolina
This contract Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity in Jacksonville, NC is ideal for professionals with school and pediatric experience. The role focuses on delivering speech-language services to students in pre-kindergarten through 5th grade at an elementary school. The assignment runs from January 5, 2026 through June 11, 2026, covering maternity leave absences at two different schools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations, individual and group therapy for a caseload of approximately 50 students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and data collection in compliance with state regulations.
- Cover maternity leave absences at one school (January to March) and then another (March to June).
Qualifications:
- Valid North Carolina SLP license required.
- Experience working with pediatric populations, specifically in a school-based setting.
- Ability to manage a large caseload and work effectively in a fast-paced educational environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators and families.
