Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services within a K-12 educational setting in Jacksonville, FL. The position requires an active Florida Department of Health Speech-Language Pathology license and flexibility to manage an itinerant caseload estimated at 60 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech therapy services to students ranging from Pre-K to 12th grade.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to develop and implement effective communication goals.
- Assess and evaluate student speech and language skills, maintaining detailed documentation and progress reports.
- Manage an itinerant schedule, providing support across multiple school locations within the district.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans (IEPs).
Qualifications:
- Active Florida DOH license in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working with school-aged children (Pre-K to Grade 12).
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 60 students.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel between multiple schools during the workweek.
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Contract Duration: January 5, 2026 – May 28, 2026
Schedule: 35 hours per week (7 hours per day)
