Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist Job Duties

Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments remotely

Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
-
Deliver direct therapy sessions via secure teletherapy platforms

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student goals

Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

Participate in virtual IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions

Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
Federal and State Requirements
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
-
Florida state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
-
Experience with teletherapy platforms and technology
-
Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, FERPA, and other applicable education laws

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Fingerprinting and background clearance as required by Florida school districts
