A certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for an elementary school setting in Jacksonville, AR, to provide therapy services during the current school year on a contract basis. The role involves supporting a preschool caseload across multiple campuses, requiring expertise in pediatric speech and language development within a school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to a caseload of 36-40 students, primarily preschool-aged, across 3-4 campuses.
- Monitor and document student progress, maintain compliance with IEP goals, and collaborate closely with educators and other professionals.
- Participate in meetings with parents, staff, and multidisciplinary teams to support student needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred.
- Experience working as an SLP in school settings is required.
- Ability to work independently as there is no supervision available for SLP-CFY or acceptance of SLPAs.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Location: Jacksonville, Arkansas (onsite)
Contract Duration: Immediate start through May 21, 2026
Hours: 35 hours per week
