School Speech Language Pathologist - Jackson, New Jersey
A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a K-12 school in Jackson, NJ. This contract role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload of elementary students. The position requires expertise in Speech-Language Pathology, with autism experience considered a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 20 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the planning of interventions
Desired Qualifications:
- Current SLP certification (CCC preferred)
- Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in elementary settings
- Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders and relevant therapeutic techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Position Details:
- Location: Jackson, NJ
- Schedule: Part-time, 2 days per week, flexible hours between 9:00 AM and 3:50 PM, with some flexibility in start times
- Contract duration: Immediate start through the last day of school in June 2026, with potential to return in September 2026
