Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Michigan SLP license required
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Previous experience working in school settings with children K-4th grade
- Candidates with Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellowship completion are not eligible
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively and collaborate with educators and families
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students (kindergarten through 4th grade)
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Document progress and maintain detailed records according to school and district guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student success
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of intervention strategies
