Role Overview:
You’ll serve a caseload of approximately 28 students, mostly elementary, with high school students nearby. This role involves assessment, therapy, and collaboration with educators and families to support student success.Your Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and create individualized therapy plans
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy tailored to each student’s needs
- Work closely with teachers and school staff to ensure proper accommodations and modifications
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute to setting student goals
- Provide guidance and resources to parents and caregivers
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state SLP license or eligibility to obtain one
- Experience with school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication skills and teamwork mindset
- Familiarity with IEP processes and educational laws
