Position Summary:
A student-focused school district in Issaquah, Washington is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive communication services that support student academic achievement and social development. The SLP will work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to empower students to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct speech and language evaluations, screenings, and ongoing progress monitoring.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP and 504 goals.

Deliver direct speech and language therapy services in various educational environments.

Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to enhance student outcomes.

Recommend and facilitate the use of assistive technology and augmentative communication.

Participate actively in IEP meetings and transition planning.

Maintain detailed, timely documentation consistent with district policies and regulations.

Provide training and resources to staff and families to promote effective communication supports.
Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

Valid Washington State SLP license.

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.

Familiarity with IDEA, Section 504, and school-based therapy practices.

Experience in pediatric or educational settings preferred.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
