Grades K - 5 Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Irwin, PA
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school located in Irwin, PA. This contract role offers an exciting opportunity to work onsite with a caseload of 20-24 students across grades K-12 throughout the current school year. The position is ideal for an SLP with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and experience supporting young learners, particularly from kindergarten through grade 5.
Responsibilities include providing speech and language therapy services to students with diverse communication needs. The caseload specifically involves working with students who use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices and those with high autistic needs. You will develop individualized treatment plans, collaborate with educators and families, and support student progress toward communication goals in a school setting.
Key qualifications and experience sought:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Experience working with K-12 students, especially in early elementary grades (K-5)
- Skill in supporting students utilizing AAC devices
- Background working with students on the autism spectrum
