School Speech Therapist - Yelm, Washington

Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain one prior to start date)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply
- Experience in school-based settings is highly valued
- Strong knowledge of IEP process, evaluating speech and language concerns, and delivering effective therapy
- Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student goals
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to maximize student progress
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation of assessments, therapy, and student outcomes
- Participate in meetings, consultation, and professional development as required
