Speech Language Pathologist in Irving, TX
Step into an impactful role supporting middle and elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026–2027 academic year. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to work closely with a diverse caseload in a school-based environment near the Irving, TX area. Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Active Texas SLP License
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Proven experience delivering speech and language support in a school-based setting, especially with elementary and middle school-aged students
- Advanced communication and organizational abilities, adept with documentation and IEP processes
- Strong collaboration skills for partnering with multidisciplinary teams
- Reliable transportation and the ability to commit to an onsite, full-time schedule
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations, develop IEP goals, and deliver direct and indirect therapy for a caseload of about 35 students
- Participate in the creation and implementation of individualized treatment plans in coordination with teachers, administrators, and special education staff
- Document student progress and maintain thorough compliance with state regulations and IEP requirements
- Serve as a professional resource and advocate for students’ communication needs within the school community
- Engage with families and caregivers to ensure a supportive, collaborative approach
