Speech and Language Pathologist - Irving, TX
A bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support K-12 students in a school district in Mesquite, Texas. This contract position runs from January 5, 2026, through May 28, 2026, with a 37.5-hour workweek. The role is itinerant, covering multiple campuses with an office located at the Student Support Center. One day per week remote work is permitted, offering a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations as part of the district’s evaluation team
- Provide assessment and intervention services to bilingual students in English and Spanish
- Collaborate with school personnel, families, and other professionals to support student success
- Utilize school district resources, including testing kits, district technology, badge, and email
Qualifications:
- Active Texas Speech-Language Pathology license required
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish to serve bilingual student populations
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively in a hybrid environment
