Speech and Language Pathologist in Fort Worth, TX
Providing Speech-Language Pathology services within K-12 schools across the Dallas Metroplex area, this role offers flexibility and the opportunity to support a diverse student population. The position involves traveling to multiple locations to conduct assessments and support students’ communication needs throughout the school year on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students in grades K-12
- Provide support and recommendations based on assessment results
- Collaborate with educators and other professionals to tailor individualized programs
- Manage scheduling effectively to accommodate travel between locations within the Dallas-Fort Worth area
Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working in school settings strongly desired
- Ability to travel to multiple schools throughout the Metroplex
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Location:
- Dallas Metroplex area with travel to various school sites within Fort Worth and surrounding regions
- Opportunities available throughout the broader DFW area tailored to candidate scheduling preferences
Work Arrangement and Benefits:
- Flexible, PRN (as-needed) schedule allows selecting workload according to availability
- Contract position for the school year
- Compensation based on $80.00 flat rate per completed assessment, enabling freedom to take on as much or as little work as desired
