A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a K-12 school located in Irvine, CA. This contract role is for the current school year and involves working with a diverse caseload of students exhibiting mild to moderate behavioral challenges. The position offers an opportunity to provide critical support without the need for supervision of Speech-Language Pathology Assistants, as onsite support staff is already available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to K-12 students.
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans to address speech and language disorders.
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and support staff to integrate therapy goals into academic settings.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current California Teaching Credential (CTC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience working within K-12 educational settings, particularly with mild to moderate behavioral students.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently without supervision of Speech-Language Pathology Assistants.

  • Irvine, CA (contract for the current school year).
