A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a contract position serving two elementary schools in Irmo, SC. This role focuses on delivering speech therapy services primarily to preschool through 5th-grade students, with an emphasis on supporting mostly preschool-aged children. The assignment extends from March 2, 2026, to May 26, 2026, covering a critical portion of the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments and individualized therapy plans tailored to PreK-5th grade students.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to support student communication development.
- Document progress and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines for speech therapy in schools.
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet the diverse needs of pediatric students in an educational environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid SLP Certification and Licensure suitable for school-based practice.
