School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Onyx, California
Providing speech-language support in a dynamic K-12 educational setting requires skilled professionals dedicated to student growth and development. This opportunity is for an onsite speech-language pathologist (SLP) position within a public school district serving elementary students.
Location: Onsite position in Onyx, CA, supporting K-12 schools with a primary focus on elementary caseloads.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to elementary students
- Assess, develop, and implement effective communication interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school district policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional expertise
- Promote a positive learning environment that encourages student success
Desired Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working within school settings, preferably K-12
- Strong skills in speech-language assessment, treatment planning, and intervention
- Ability to effectively manage caseload and documentation requirements
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
- Commitment to onsite service delivery in alignment with district goals
Job Details:
- Contract duration: February 16, 2026 – May 28, 2026 (Current School Year)
- Work schedule: 37.5 hours per week
