This full-time contract opportunity is designed for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services in a K-8 school setting, with a focus on PreK through 3rd grade students. This role is based in Greenwood, IN, working with a diverse caseload of 63 students.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy services to students from PreK to 8th grade, with an emphasis on early childhood education (PreK-3rd grade)
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and document student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student communication development
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive school environment
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to speech therapy in school settings
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Indiana state license for Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience with pediatric populations, especially school-aged children
- Certified Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion preferred, but strong candidates at various experience levels considered
- Knowledge of school-based speech therapy practices and educational requirements
