Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Fishers, IN
Providing speech-language pathology services across two elementary schools in Fishers, IN, this full-time itinerant position supports K-6 students in need of specialized communication assistance. Responsibilities include:
- Delivering direct speech and language therapy to K-4 students (23 students) on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and 5th/6th graders (28 students) on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- Managing caseloads across two schools located approximately 3.5 miles apart, requiring flexibility and efficient time management.
- Conducting initial and ongoing evaluations, writing IEPs and reports, participating in meetings, and completing Medicaid billing documentation as part of comprehensive service delivery.
- Collaborating with school staff, families, and other professionals to support student progress and adherence to educational standards.
Qualifications:
- Current Indiana license in Speech-Language Pathology required.
- Experience or certification as a school-based SLP is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage itinerant responsibilities across multiple sites effectively.
- Knowledge of best practices in pediatric speech and language intervention within a school setting.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
