Full-Time School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Contract Position
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Dates: August 1, 2025 – May 29, 2026

Blazer Jobs is currently seeking a licensed and experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, school-based contract position in Indianapolis, Indiana for the 2025–2026 academic year. This is a rewarding opportunity for professionals passionate about helping students improve communication skills and succeed in a supportive school environment.

Position Details:

  • Contract Term: August 1, 2025 – May 29, 2026

  • Schedule: Full-time during school hours

  • Setting: Public school district (specific grade levels and caseload to be discussed during interview)

  • Population: Students with a variety of speech and language needs, including those receiving special education services

Minimum Requirements:

  • Valid Indiana Speech-Language Pathology license

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFY candidates may be considered

  • Must meet all state and local requirements for school-based SLPs

  • Experience with special education students and families is highly preferred

  • Familiarity with IEP development and implementation required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services in accordance with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

  • Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders

  • Collaborate with educators, special education staff, and families to support student communication goals

  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, evaluations, and compliance documentation

  • Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and ongoing planning sessions

  • Offer consultation and training to staff regarding communication strategies and AAC support when necessary
