This position offers the opportunity to expand your school-based experience while supporting students with diverse speech, language, and communication needs.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate students' speech and language needs
Develop and implement IEP goals and treatment plans
Provide direct individual and group speech-language services
Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary collaboration
Communicate with teachers, families, and school professionals
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or appropriate related field
Required graduate clinical education/experience completed
Active Virginia SLP license or ability to obtain required Virginia licensure prior to starting
Appropriate school-based credentialing as required
School-based or pediatric experience preferred
Ability to work full-time and onsite in Independence, VA
Willingness to relocate/travel for the assignment
