Blazer Jobs is currently conducting interviews for a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position with a reputable school district in the Imperial Beach, CA area. We are seeking dedicated and experienced professionals who are passionate about helping students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
-
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
-
Provide direct therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
-
Maintain accurate records and prepare reports in compliance with school, district, and state requirements
-
Conduct assessments and participate in eligibility meetings
-
Monitor and document student progress and adjust interventions as needed
Qualifications and Requirements:
Applicants must meet all local and state certification and licensure requirements, including:

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
-
California State Speech-Language Pathology License issued by the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board
-
California Teaching Credential in Speech-Language Pathology Services or other appropriate credential authorizing service in public schools (required for school-based positions)
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred, but CFY candidates may be considered
-
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to school sites as needed
-
Previous experience in a school-based setting is strongly preferred
