Travel School Speech Pathology | Idaho Springs, Colorado
A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support PreK-12 students in Idaho Springs, CO. This role involves delivering direct therapy services during a four-day school week, addressing a caseload of approximately 30 students. The position is scheduled to begin August 10 and will continue through June 4 of the following year, with potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to PreK-12 students across a variety of speech and language disorders.
- Utilize skills in pediatric and school-based SLP, with flexibility to incorporate teletherapy techniques as needed.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all professional standards and compliance requirements.
- Support students in both one-on-one and group settings during school hours.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Colorado Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license and certification with the Colorado Department of Education (CDE).
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school and healthcare settings.
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and delivery methods is preferred.
- Credentials such as Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology are a plus.
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 30 students effectively with strong organizational skills.
