Pediatric School-Based SLP | Boulder, Colorado
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Idaho Springs, CO, serving students from PreK through 12th grade in a school setting. This contract position requires approximately 10-12 hours per week spread over four days (Monday through Thursday). The assignment begins August 10 and continues through June 4, covering the current and upcoming school year (ASAP to End of School Year and 2026-2027 school year).
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Colorado SLP License
- Colorado Department of Education (CDE) certification
- Experience working with PreK-12 student caseloads
- Strong skills in both direct therapy and teletherapy
- Comfort with pediatric and school-based speech-language pathology practices
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 30 students
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy services to a diverse caseload of students in PreK-12 settings
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapy interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals
- Use both in-person and teletherapy methods to deliver effective treatment
- Document student progress and maintain compliance with state licensure and educational standards
Work Schedule:
- 10-12 hours per week
- Four days per week (Monday through Thursday)
