Remote SLP for Language-Based Learning Disabilities West Virginia
We seek a skilled Remote Speech-Language Pathologist to serve students with language-based learning disabilities in West Virginia public schools. This independent contractor role focuses on helping students develop receptive and expressive language skills critical for reading comprehension, writing, and academic success through teletherapy.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide speech and language therapy targeting academic language skills.

Conduct virtual language assessments and develop individualized goals.

Collaborate with reading specialists and classroom teachers.

Deliver teletherapy sessions addressing syntax, semantics, and pragmatics.

Participate in IEP meetings and eligibility evaluations remotely.

Document therapy sessions and student progress accurately.

Provide strategies for language support across academic subjects.

Offer consultative services to educators and families.

Support students’ executive functioning and social communication.
-
Use evidence-based interventions tailored for remote delivery.

Track compliance with West Virginia education policies.

Attend professional development and training sessions.
-
Manage caseload and scheduling independently.
-
Maintain licensure and adhere to ethical standards.

Communicate proactively with team members.

VOCOVISION Requirements
· Must have a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
· Contractors must provide your their own liability insurance
· Comfortable being an independent contractor (1099)
· Home computer with high internet speed
· Passed basic tech screening
Interview Process:
- 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
- 20-30 minute Virtual Interview with the School District
- Offer is typically within 24-48 hours of the virtual interview
