Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school district in Madison, AL. The SLP will play a vital role in supporting students’ communication, language, and speech development needs, working closely with teachers, parents, and staff to ensure student success.
Responsibilities:

Provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.

Conduct evaluations, assessments, and screenings to determine student needs.

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families.

Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and data collection.

Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and other support staff.

Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district, state, and federal guidelines.
Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

Current Alabama SLP license (or eligibility for licensure).

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong CFs encouraged to apply.

Experience in a school-based setting is a plus.

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Schedule & Caseload:

Full-time, following the school district calendar.
-
Caseload will include a range of students across grade levels, with specific details provided during the interview.
