Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Huntsville, AL
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing qualified Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time contract position in Huntsville, AL. This is a school-based role for the upcoming school year, working with students to support their speech, language, and communication development within an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:
-
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students referred for services
-
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs based on assessment results
-
Provide direct therapy services in individual and/or small group settings
-
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress and classroom communication needs
-
Monitor student progress and adjust goals or interventions as needed
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
-
Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and school-based activities
-
Offer support in areas such as articulation, fluency, language, voice, and social communication
Qualifications:
-
Must meet all Alabama state certification and licensure requirements for Speech Language Pathology
-
Valid Alabama SLP license or eligibility
-
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows may also be considered
-
Prior experience in a school setting or with special education populations is highly preferred

Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
