A dynamic opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students through both onsite and virtual services. This contract role focuses on providing comprehensive speech therapy services to a diverse student caseload primarily in elementary grades, including some high school students.

Location:

  • Huntingtown, MD
  • Work setting includes onsite and teletherapy options

Duration:

  • Contract position running from ASAP through June 10, 2026
  • Consistent work schedule averaging 35-40 billable hours per week

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations, assessments, and screenings for students across K-12
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintain required documentation and progress reports in compliance with regulations
  • Provide teletherapy services effectively for remote students

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working with school-aged children from elementary through high school levels
  • Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 48 students, balancing onsite and virtual delivery
  • Strong communication skills and comfort using teletherapy technology
  • Understanding of educational laws and speech therapy protocols within a school setting
