Speech and Language Pathologist in Huntingtown, MD
A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide services in a K-12 school setting, either onsite or through teletherapy, in Huntingtown, Maryland. This contract position offers an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse caseload of mostly elementary students, along with a number of high school students, supporting their speech and language development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language evaluations and services to a caseload of approximately 48 students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Maintain precise records and documentation in compliance with educational and clinical standards.
- Provide services either in-person or through teletherapy platforms as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working in school-based environments, preferably K-12.
- Ability to manage a caseload with varied age groups and developmental needs.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work onsite or virtually as needed.
