Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state SLP licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Prior experience in a school setting or with IEP assessments highly valued
- Ability to manage and adapt to diverse elementary caseloads
- Strong organizational and communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and families
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough IEP assessments and actively participate in IEP meetings
- Plan and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for elementary-aged students with speech and language needs
- Manage documentation and maintain accurate student records
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support student success
- Provide consultation and resources to staff and families
- Collaborate during the handoff of caseload duties to ensure a seamless transition for students
