A rewarding opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist committed to supporting students’ communication and academic growth. This full-time, on-site role focuses on serving a diverse caseload in both a middle school and high school setting in the greater Houston area. The position offers the chance to make a genuine impact across multiple age groups, collaborating with passionate educators and families.

The ideal candidate possesses strong skills in pediatric speech therapy and brings fluency in American Sign Language (ASL), enabling meaningful engagement with students who use sign language as their primary means of communication. An enthusiastic and skilled clinician will flourish in this environment, creating lasting connections that facilitate student success.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current or eligible state licensure as an SLP
  • American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) certification (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
  • Experience with elementary, middle, and/or high school populations is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive assessments, therapy, and interventions to students with diverse communication needs
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Engage with families and staff to provide education, resources, and progress updates
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with state and district policies
