A full-time Speech Language Pathologist position is available near Eastern Houston, TX, offering the opportunity to work onsite with a very flexible schedule allowing for two work-from-home days per month. This role focuses on serving either elementary or secondary students, providing essential speech and language support within a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals.
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive educational environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Texas.
- Experience working as an SLP in a professional school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively and compassionately.
