Elementary School Speech and Language Pathologist | Humble, Texas
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a K-12 school setting located in Humble, TX. This contract position runs from as soon as possible through May 26th and offers 37.5 hours per week dedicated primarily to delivering direct therapy services to students.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services tailored to individual student needs across K-12 grade levels
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support student progress and communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and therapy records in compliance with district and professional standards
- Conduct assessments and contribute to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) as needed
Qualifications:
- Current SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Relevant clinical fellowship experience or full certification (CF/CCC)
- Demonstrated ability to provide therapy in an elementary school environment, with flexibility across K-12 when required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and staff
