Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid license or eligibility to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in North Carolina
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but recent graduates eligible for CFY are encouraged to apply
- Demonstrated experience or coursework in school-based or pediatric SLP services
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively across elementary, middle, and high school settings
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy services to students from Kindergarten through 12th grade
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and document ongoing progress
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other school-based professionals to promote student success
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to professional development activities within the school setting
- Maintain accurate and timely records to support student growth and compliance with state and federal guidelines
