Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Grand Blanc, MI
A local K-12 school in Grand Blanc, MI is seeking two onsite Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support a primarily Pre-K caseload for the current school year (CSY). This contract position runs from November 8, 2025, through June 12, 2026, with a commitment of 35 hours per week.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology with an ASHA CCC-SLP certification preferred
- Licensed in the state of Michigan; CFY candidates must hold a temporary Michigan license and ideally have an established supervisor
- Experience working with Pre-K children strongly preferred
- Knowledge of urban student challenges and appropriate family resources is highly valued
- Ability and comfort working onsite throughout the contract duration
Location: Grand Blanc, MI (also open to candidates from neighboring areas such as Lansing and Detroit)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to Pre-K through 12 students, focusing primarily on the Pre-K caseload
- Conduct assessments, create individualized treatment plans, and maintain detailed documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to support student communication goals
- Utilize evidence-based strategies tailored to the unique needs of urban learners and their families
