Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Houston, TX

Embark on an exciting opportunity to support students in speech-language pathology for the 2026-2027 school year. We are seeking dedicated SLPs and SLPAs with strong school-based experience to provide comprehensive speech-language services in a collaborative educational environment. Placement will be determined following interviews and closer to the start of the academic year.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Active Texas SLP or SLPA license (must provide license screenshot with application)
- For SLPAs: License must be in hand prior to the contract start
- Demonstrated school-based SLP or SLPA experience
- On-site availability (remote/virtual work is not permitted)
- Ability to secure reliable transportation for required travel
- Willingness and ability to pay for district fingerprinting within the first 3 days of contract signing
- Commitment from July 30, 2026, through May 28, 2027
- No SLP-CFs; must have SLP-CCC (for SLP roles) or SLPA credentials completed
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students per IEP goals
- Complete required documentation and progress reports in accordance with school policies
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings and related activities
- Uphold district protocols and foster a positive learning environment
Additional Details and Perks:
- This is a contract position spanning the full academic year

- Placement/assignment information will be provided prior to the school year following the interview process
