An Elementary School in Houston, TX is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential services to students in grades K-5 for the current school year. Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Speech-Language Pathologist License
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience in school-based speech therapy services preferred
Position Details:
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: End of School Year
- Hours: 35-37.5 per week, Monday through Friday
- Age Group: Kindergarten through 5th grade
- Caseload: Approximately 55 students
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in an elementary school setting
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate records and documentation to track student progress
- Utilize evidence-based strategies to support students’ speech and language development
