SLP in Houston, TX
Seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in an elementary caseload for the current school year (CSY) contract, from December through the end of the school year (EOSY). Located in Houston, TX, this position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic school environment dedicated to student growth and communication development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy services to elementary students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student assessments.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes.
- Participate in individualized education program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal setting.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license (SLP).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working in school settings with elementary-aged children.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
