Job Details: Onsite near Houston, TX
- Multiple openings - will try to keep applicants localized 

Pay Range: $45+/hr (depending on experience)

  • Remainder of the 2025-2026 school year 
  • Full time position(s)
  • ASAP start - 6/4/2026
  • Position will renew if candidate is a good fit 
  • K-12th grade caseload openings, will consider candidate preference of age group based on experience 
  • District will renew candidate contracts if the candidate is a good fit for the position 
  • Varying therapy needs 
  • 1 or multiple school site (mileage can be reimbursed between school sites. Site will be determined after interview and based on candidate location)
  • Must be okay with commuting within Houston metro area 
  • More caseload/position details to be provided during interview process
  • ASAP Interview

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to determine eligibility for special education services and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide individual and group therapy services to students with speech and language disorders, targeting goals outlined in their IEPs.
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement strategies to support communication skills in the classroom and school community.
  • Participate in district-wide initiatives to promote positive school climate, cultural responsiveness, and social justice.
  • Provide training and support to teachers and other school staff regarding strategies to support students with speech and language disorders.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Texas state licensure as an SLP and certification of clinical competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Strong knowledge of current theories, research, and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations and demonstrated cultural competence.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
