This position seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with expertise in K-12 educational settings to support student communication development. The role is contract-based for the current school year and located in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology and has experience providing assessment and intervention services within school environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students across grades K-12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals as needed
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory and program requirements
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Valid state license or eligibility to practice as an SLP in Texas
- Experience working in school-based settings with children K-12
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
