Speech-Language Pathologist in Houston, TX

This opportunity is for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to serve K-12 students in a contract position located in Houston, TX. The role involves providing specialized speech and language therapy services within a school setting for the academic calendar year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students across all K-12 grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing articulation, language delays, fluency, and other speech-related disorders
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure integrated support for student communication needs
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and comply with state and federal regulations
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal-setting discussions
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Experience working as an SLP within school settings K-12 preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school teams
- Ability to manage caseloads and demonstrate flexibility in schedule during the contract period
