A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available within a K-12 school district in the Houston, TX area. This contract-based role is suited for professionals licensed in SLP who are passionate about supporting students’ communication needs across grades 7 through 12. The assignment is on-site at two schools serving approximately 80 to 90 students.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid professional license in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working with adolescents in a school setting (grades 7-12)
  • Ability to manage a caseload of 80-90 students efficiently
  • Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and collaboration with educators and families

Location:

  • Houston, TX vicinity, with primary assignments at George Ranch High School and Reading Junior High located in Richmond, TX

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech-language evaluations and individualized therapy for students
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student success
  • Maintain accurate records and compliance with school district guidelines
  • Participate in departmental meetings and professional development opportunities

Details:

  • Contract duration: Immediate start with anticipated end date in May 2026
  • Full-time, 35 hours per week, on-site only
  • Caseload includes students across grades 7 to 12
  • Contract is currently funded and in process of final approval
