A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school setting located in the Houston metropolitan area, serving grades 7-12. This contract role begins as soon as possible and continues through May 21, 2026, providing support to approximately 80-90 students across two schools: George Ranch High School and Reading Junior High. The position is onsite, requiring an active professional license in Speech-Language Pathology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services to students in grades 7-12 with a diverse range of communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student goals.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote student progress.
- Conduct assessments, track progress data, and participate in IEP meetings as required.
- Maintain compliance with district policies and professional standards.
Qualifications:
- Valid professional license in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working with school-age children, particularly in middle and high school settings.
