A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certified with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to support elementary school students in Houston, TX. This role offers the opportunity to provide specialized speech and language services within a dynamic school setting during the current school year (CSY).
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations for elementary-aged students
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address speech and communication disorders
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Documenting student performance and maintaining accurate records in compliance with school policies
- Providing direct speech-language therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working in an elementary school environment preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students, families, and staff
- Ability to manage caseload and maintain detailed documentation
