Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Houston, TX
About the Position
A school district in Houston, TX is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team for the 2025–2026 school year. The SLP will work with students to improve communication, language, and academic success in a collaborative school-based environment.
Responsibilities

Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

Provide therapy services in individual and group settings
-
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations

Collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators to support student progress

Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and district guidelines
Qualifications
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Active Texas SLP license
-
Prior school-based experience preferred
-
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Compensation & Benefits
-
Local Candidates (Hourly Pay): $49 - $56 per hour

Travel Candidates (Weekly Take-Home Pay, if applicable): $1743 - $1953 weekly
