Local Candidates (Hourly Pay): $53-$64
Travel Candidates (Weekly Take-Home Pay): $1884-$2087

Speech-Language Pathologist Job Duties

Conduct evaluations to assess students’ speech, language, and communication needs

Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) to support student goals
-
Provide direct and consultative therapy services in school settings
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success

Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and services provided
-
Utilize evidence-based practices and adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse needs

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations, including IDEA and Section 504
Federal and State Requirements

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
-
Current Texas state licensure/certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility)

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred; Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates may also be considered

Strong knowledge of assessment tools, therapy interventions, and assistive technology

Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Fingerprinting and background clearance as required by Texas school districts
