Role Summary
Blazer Jobs is seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school-based team in Houston, TX. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of both in-person and remote service delivery. We welcome applicants with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) as well as Clinical Fellows (CFY) looking to complete their fellowship under the supervision of experienced professionals. You will play a key role in supporting students with speech, language, and communication challenges, helping them thrive academically and socially.
Responsibilities
• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct therapy services in both on-site and virtual formats
• Document student progress and maintain compliance with all reporting requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on goal setting
• Work closely with general education teachers, families, and school teams to support communication development across environments
• Receive and/or provide supervision and mentorship (for CFY candidates)
Requirements (Texas)
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Texas SLP license or eligibility (TSBESL)
• CCC-SLP or eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Experience in school settings preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Comfortable with hybrid work and technology platforms for teletherapy
