Local Candidates (Hourly Pay): $49-$56
Travel Candidates (Weekly Take-Home Pay): $1743-$1953

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Job Duties

Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy sessions

Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress

Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy strategies as needed
-
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
-
Provide consultation and training to staff and families as needed

Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations related to special education services
Federal and State Requirements
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
-
Texas state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility)
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
-
Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, FERPA, and other applicable education laws

Strong communication, assessment, and collaboration skills
-
Fingerprinting and background clearance as required by Texas school districts
