Virtual SLP Specialist - TX
Lead innovative speech therapy programs from the comfort of your home office while making meaningful connections with students who need specialized communication support. Our expanding virtual services program seeks an experienced clinician ready to embrace the future of school-based therapy.
Role Details You'll join a supportive network of virtual therapists dedicated to removing communication barriers and fostering academic success through personalized intervention strategies.
Primary Duties
- Execute virtual speech and language assessments using standardized evaluation tools
- Design creative therapy activities tailored to individual student needs and virtual delivery
- Implement evidence-based interventions for articulation, phonological processes, language comprehension, and social communication skills
- Monitor student progress through data collection and regular reassessment
- Prepare comprehensive evaluation reports and progress summaries
- Coordinate with educational teams to ensure therapy goals align with academic objectives
- Provide consultation services to teachers regarding communication strategies
Required Credentials
- Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid ASHA CCC-SLP certification
- Current Michigan speech-language pathology license
- Minimum 2 years of educational setting experience
- Experience with virtual therapy platforms and digital assessment tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and web-based applications
- Strong interpersonal skills and cultural competency
Technology Requirements Position requires reliable internet connection, professional-grade headset, and comfortable workspace setup. Experience with telepractice software and electronic health records preferred but training provided for qualified candidates.
