Position Details
- Location: Houston, TX
- Caseload: K-12 Students
- Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time Options Available
- Start Date: Actively Hiring for the 25/26 School Year
Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy to K-12 students, including assessments and individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct evaluations and collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs).
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure effective outcomes.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide guidance on best practices for supporting students with speech and language needs.
- Engage in both direct therapy and consultation services, utilizing effective and creative therapeutic techniques.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP license in the state of Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but CFY candidates will be considered
- Previous experience working with K-12 students is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently
