School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Job
Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time opportunity with school districts in the Houston, Texas area. We are seeking qualified professionals who are passionate about supporting student development and success through comprehensive speech and language services.
Requirements:
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements, including:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
-
Active Texas Speech-Language Pathology license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
-
Texas Education Agency (TEA) certification may be required depending on district policies
-
Ability to pass required background checks and drug screenings
-
Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
Typical Responsibilities:

Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
-
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
-
Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
-
Collaborate with educators, families, and school staff to support student progress
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student outcomes
-
Participate in IEP meetings and provide input to multidisciplinary teams
